The RSMA Trust is able to provide loans to students who find themselves in financial difficulty.
The loans are subject to individual limits of £1000 and require an agreed repayment schedule and the support of a guarantor. (effectively a UK resident)
It had been recognised in the case of some students that it may prove difficult to find a UK-based guarantor and so in exceptional cases the Trust would act as Guarantor. The maximum total of loans outstanding at any time is limited to £4000. Small loans to the RSM Union and Societies may also be considered.
Applicants for loans should complete the appropriate form which will include the signatures of an academic referee and a guarantor. Two Trust board members (including trustees) will then interview the applicant.
