The RSMA will support expeditions being undertaken by students of the RSM with the aim to provide some additional funds to cover expedition incidentals.
For an expedition to achieve support, it must first have been approved by the College Exploration Board.
The maximum amount of Grant awarded per RSM student shall be £250
A brief report on the expedition shall be supplied to the Trust and permission will be given for its publication or a précis of it in ‘Imperial Engineer’ and RSMA Newsletters.
As funding for expeditions is usually tight, the Trust may offer in addition, a loan (for emergency use only and not as a top-up) of £250 for each expedition, over and above the Grant amount.
Applications should be made to rsma@imperial.ac.uk giving full details of the expedition, the aims and outcomes and the expedition members, year and course of study.
